Franklin Skinner Sr.
HOPKINSVILLE — Franklin Skinner Sr., 86, of Hopkinsville died Friday, November 1, 2013, at Kindred Hospital Nashville in Nashville, Tenn.
He had operated a taxi service in Cadiz, known as Frankie’s Cab and also in Hopkinsville and Ft. Campbell. He was a member of Second Baptist Church and a Korean War U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Judy Seago and Kathy Greenier, both of Hopkinsville; two sons, Franklin Skinner Jr., and Tim Skinner, both of Hopkinsville; one brother, W.C. Skinner of Cadiz; one sister, Christine Adams of Cadiz; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Winnie Hunter Skinner; one brother; and two sisters. His parents were Walter Calvin Skinner and Lona Mae Thomas Skinner.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with Rev. David Tucker officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
