PRINCETON — James A. Lane, 61, of Princeton died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Caldwell Medical Center.
He was a retired funeral director at Morgan’s Funeral Home, a former guard at Kentucky State Penitentiary, former member of Princeton Fire Department and served as deputy coroner for Caldwell County. He was a member of Crider Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Lamb Lane; two sons, Jason Lane of Fort Campbell and Kevin Lane of Madisonville; one daughter, Shannon Lane of Princeton; five grandchildren; and one sister, Kathy Rose Lane of Princeton.
He was preceded in death by one sister. His parents were James G. Lane and Sylvia Faughn Lane.
No services are scheduled.
