CLINTON — Charlie Adams, 69, of Clinton died Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
He was a forever dock worker at Henry Edwards Trucking, a porter at Boatman National Bank of St. Louis and a custodian at Clinton Elementary School. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rolanda Harper Adams; one daughter, Shalanda Smith; one son, Travis Smith, one brother, William David Adams; one adopted grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Harry Edward Adams and Jessie Lee Grant Adams.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with the Revs. Anthony Johnson and Derek Fitts officiating.
Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery. Friends may call from noon Wednesday until the service hour at the funeral home.
