Joseph B. Fosko Sr., 70, of Paducah, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
Joe was born in Paducah on September 20, 1943, to the late Bernard Lee Fosko and Helen Marie Riley Fosko. Joe served in the United States Navy, was a life member of VFW and longtime member of American Legion Post #31 and Calvert City Masonic Lodge #542.
He retired from Air Products and Chemicals and also was former owner/operator of Fosko Elevator Company. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife, Janice “Jan” Garrett Fosko; a son, Michael E. “Mike” Fosko; special granddaughter, Hunter Rylee Fosko of Belgium; a sister, Brenda Marie Coreau and husband Ted of Paducah; and two nephews, Ted Coreau Jr. of Paducah and Tommy Coreau of Maine.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph “Joey” Fosko Jr.; a brother, Michael Lee Fosko; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Broome officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
