LA CENTER — Graveside services for Pauline Thompson, 100, of Pittsfield, Ill., formerly of La Center, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in La Center with the Rev. Robert Bickford officiating.
Mrs. Thompson died Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Eastside Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Pittsfield.
Mrs. Thompson was a native of Ballard County and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in La Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Alice Goose of Fairdale and Dorothy Slayden of Pittsfield; four grandchildren, Jeanie Hartman of Baylis, Ill., Mike Slayden of Pittsfield, Rob Slayden of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Lindsey Goose of Bowling Green; seven great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Thompson; three sons, Bobby, Charles and Paul Thompson; a grandson, Wayne Thompson; and a great-great-granddaughter. Her parents were Tom Bratton and Birdie McCutchen.
