FULTON — Wanda Marie Alexander, 68, of Fulton died at 11:08 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
She was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Scott of Clinton and Patricia Ray of Fulton; four sons, George Alexander Jr. of South Fulton,Tenn., David Alexander of Union City, Tenn., Daniel Alexander of Jacksonville, Fla., and Christopher Alexander of Union City, Tenn.; 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; seven brothers, Sammy Thomas Jr., Raymond “Peter” Thomas and Larry Thomas, all of Columbus, Bobby “Paul”Thomas of Erie, Pa., Donald Thomas of Waverly, James “Buster” Thomas of Clinton, and Ricky Thomas of Toledo, Ohio; two sisters, Christine Scott of Clinton and Elizabeth Partee of Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alexander; and four sisters. Her parents were Sammy and Ollie Mae Motley Thomas.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton.
