Julius Cummins Jr.
PRINCETON — Julius “J.J.” Cummins Jr., 81, of Princeton died Friday, October 11, 2013, at Caldwell Medical Center.
He was a retired correctional officer for the Kentucky State Penitentiary and a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Clinton Masonic Lodge 82.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie Lambert Cummins; one son, Ken Cummins of Princeton; two daughters, Cathy Hopper and Connie Haberlock, both of Princeton; eight grandchildren; one sister, Ethelyne Bennett of Decatur, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents were Julius Rosman and Robbie Mitchell Cummins.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Revs. Rodney Wallace and Ronnie Sivells officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Spring Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013, at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m.
