Albert S. ‘Mike’ Friedmann
Albert S. ‘Mike’ Friedmann, 88, of Paducah, passed away at 2:05 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
Mr. Friedmann was of the Lutheran Faith, retired supervisor from the electrical department with Union Carbide, volunteer at the Beehive Teen Club, a volunteer in the construction of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church and was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran.
Mr. Friedmann is survived by his wife of 70 years, Carleen Mitchell Friedmann; two grandsons, Christopher Blake Scheer and wife Stacey of Paducah and Paul Anthony Liebetrau and wife LeNae of Santa Cruz, CA.; five great-grandchildren, Matthew Scheer, Izzy Scheer, Abby Scheer, Katiana Liebetrau and David Liebetrau.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia Scheer; a son, John Albert Friedmann; a sister, Connie Mai Young and a brother, Charles L. Friedmann Jr. His parents were Charles L. and Pauline Coleman Friedmann.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
