MAYFIELD — Services for Ted Owen Youngblood, 91, of Mayfield will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in McKendree Cemetery with military rites conducted.
Mr. Youngblood died Thursday, October 3, 2013,at Heritage Manor.
He had worked as a salesman for Hale’s Chevrolet and as a machinist for Ingersoll-Rand. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of McKendree United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sue Mason Youngblood; one son, Barry Youngblood of Boaz; one daughter, Cindy Harris of Mayfield; two sisters, Clemmie Black and Josie Baker, both of Coldwater; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. His parents were Early E. and Trudy Hurt Youngblood.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the funeral home.
