FULTON — Graveside services for Robert Lee Copeland, 69, of Fulton will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Mound City National Cemetery in Mounds, Ill.
Mr. Copeland died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at his home.
He was a member of Harris Station Methodist Church and was the groundskeeper for the Fulton Country Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by a daughter, Carla Copeland Barham of Fulton; four brothers, George Thomas Copeland of Ocean Springs, Miss., Jerry Copeland of Sulligent, Ala., Bill Copeland of Sharon, Tenn., and C.R. Copeland Jr. of South Fulton, Tenn.; two sisters, Diana Cunningham of Fulton and Pamela Resenic of Colleyville, Texas; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Clara (Wimberly) and Clarence R. Copeland.
There will be no visitation. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
