James Tyler Sr.
CADIZ — James Howard “Jimmy” Tyler Sr., 77, of Cadiz died Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Princeton Health & Rehabilitation.
He was a Farmer and Steel Worker for Chrysler and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by two sons, James Howard “Snub” Tyler Jr. of Dawson Springs and Steven Wayne Tyler of Cadiz; three daughters, Ruby Holloway and Linda Russell, both of Cadiz, and Sally Rambo of Dawson Springs; one brother, Kenny Tyler of Island, Ky.; three sisters, Kathy Sue Vargo and Diane Tyler Buehler, both of Cadiz, and Rita Wyngarden of Camarillo, Calif.; one stepsister, Carol Miller of North Park, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Roy Monday; his stepmother, Dorothy Elizabeth Tyler; his wife, Josephine Tyler; one son, Paul Ed Tyler; four brothers; and one sister.
His parents were Virgil W. Tyler and Susie E. Oliver Monday.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz. Burial will follow in Caldwell Blue Springs Cemetery.
