BROWNSVILLE — Mary Carol Hampton Carneyhan, 64, of Brownsville died Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Carneyhan of Trenton, and Cliff Carneyhan and D.J. Imbush, both of Cadiz; two daughters, Gwen Wilkins of Brownsville and Amanda Imbush of Cadiz; seven brothers, Tommy Hampton of Hanson, and Ronnie Hampton, Jerry Hampton, Billy Hampton, Donnie Hampton, Jimmy Hampton and Danny Hampton, all of Cadiz; five sisters, Linda Webster of Hanson, Ann Burnam, Sue Gail Adams and Ruth Imbush, all of Cadiz, and Jean Ritcheson of Brownsville; 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Clifford Carneyhan, and one brother. Her parents were William “Bill” and Mary Abigail Gibbs Hampton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Revs. Mark Thweatt, Scotty Hampton and Carl Heckman officiating. Burial will be at Wall Cemetery in Wallonia. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013, at the funeral home.
