METROPOLIS, Ill. — Thomas “Tom” Oldham, 72, of Metropolis passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at his home.
Tom was a retired respiratory therapist and member of Waldo Baptist Church in Metropolis.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa Oldham of Metropolis; one son, Tommy Oldham of Paducah; four daughters, Kelly and Micheal Whitaker of Paducah, Shawna and John Stewart of Columbia, S.C., Courtney and Kim Mayes of Paducah, and Whitney and Kelly Redford of Palatka, Fla.; two brothers, Bobby Oldham of Tiline, Ky., and Michael “Mike” and Pam Oldham of Ledbetter; one sister, Betty Ann and Roger Murphy of Malvern, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Cody and Danielle Whitaker of Ledbetter, Bailey Stewart of Columbia, S.C., Skyler Mayes of Paducah, Chloe Whitaker of Paducah, Kenzie Stewart of Columbia, S.C., Alexander Mayes of Paducah, Griffin Mayes of Paducah, and William Redford of Palatka, Fla..
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Amy Oldham; one brother, James “Ricky” Oldham; and one sister, Connie Sue Oldham.
Funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Waldo Baptist Church in Metropolis with the Rev. Trad York officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the church.
