MURRAY — Marelle Stiles Andrus, 99, of Murray died Friday, September 20, 2013, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Murray and had been attending Northside Baptist Church. She was a member of the Home Department in the Murray Woman’s Club. She had worked at Mademoiselle’s ladies clothing store, Winslow Cafeteria at Murray State University, and volunteered for over 20 years at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Washer of Murray; one son, Steve Andrus of Murray; one sister, Ann Goodwin of Ruidoso, N.M.; one brother, L.C. Stiles of Roswell, N.M.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carney Andrus; one sister; and three brothers. Her parents were Luther Stiles and Amy (Taylor) Stiles.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery.
