Maegan and Dr. Levi Mansfield
Maegan Lee McDowell and Dr. Levi Christopher Mansfield were united in marriage Nov. 17, 2012, at Broadway United Methodist Church of Paducah with the Rev. Randy Hines officiating. Music was provided by Devonda Treece, pianist, and Mr. Andrew DuPerrieu, soloist, both of Paducah.
The bride is the daughter of Lyne Dickey and Gary McDowell of Paducah. She is the granddaughter of Buddy Smith of Paducah and the late Mae Smith, and Linda Lacey of Gilbertsville and the late Bill Lacey.
The groom is the son of Lynn and Jana Mansfield of West Paducah. He is the grandson of Sue Mansfield of West Paducah and the late Norman Mansfield, and Wilma and Martha Newberry of West Paducah.
The bride chose Ms. Alexandra Martin of Louisville as her maid of honor and Mrs. Brandy McDowell of Paducah as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Sara Scott of Benton, Mrs. Catherine DuPerrieu of Paducah, Miss Anna Tarantino of Cincinnati, Ohio, Miss Paige Slaughter of Birmingham, Ala., and Miss Alexa Walden of Louisville. Serving as junior bridesmaids were Celia Jewel McDowell and Layla Mae McDowell, daughters of Nathan and Jewel McDowell of Benton. Serving as ringbearers were Parker Mansfield, son of Joe and Lindsey Mansfield of West Paducah, and London McDowell, son of Nicholas and Brandy McDowell of Paducah.
The groom chose Dr. Jesse O’Donley and Mr. Joe Mansfield, both of West Paducah, as best men. Groomsmen were Mr. Justin Scott of Benton, Mr. Patrick Harris of Murray, Mr. Luke Beggs of Gainesville, Fla., Mr. Derek Nance of Murray, and Mr. Zachary Bittner of Paducah.
A reception followed at Broadway United Methodist Church. Serving as guest register and program attendants were Miss Laura Knott of Houston, Texas, Miss Alexandra Cash of Columbus, Ohio, and Miss Leslie Weitlauf of Lexington.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Heath High School, a 2011 graduate of the University of Kentucky in Lexington with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a master of science degree in civil engineering. She is employed by Florence and Hutcheson in Paducah.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Heath High School, a 2008 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor of science degree in biology, and obtained a doctorate of optometry degree in 2012 from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn. He is employed by Newberry Eyecare Center in Paducah.
The couple reside in West Paducah, Ky.
