WINGO — Linda Mae Gibson, 86, of Wingo died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Green Acres Healthcare Facility in Mayfield.
She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, a retired seamstress, having worked at Merit, Curlee and Siegel clothing companies, had her own sewing business, and had worked for Lourdes Hospice.
She is survived by four sons, Johnnie Ray Ward and Howard Eugene Ward, both of Wingo, Clarence E. Ward of Fancy Farm, and Marshall Lee Gibson of Dukedom; four daughters, Joyce Ann Guthrie of Sugarland, Texas, Loula Arlene Lynch of Wingo, Linda Darlene Gabler of Port Richey, Fla., and Loula LeAnne Dobson of Louisville; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.T. Ward; her second husband, Daniel Gibson; twin sons, Larry and Gary Gibson; one grandson; four brothers; and three sisters. Her parents were Clarence and Annie Mae Drew Beasley.
No services are scheduled.
