MAYFIELD — Wanda England Hayden, 79, of the St. Charles community died at 1:56 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.
She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and was a retired cashier for the former Sureway and Piggly Wiggly groceries in Mayfield.
Survivors include her husband, Clifton Hayden; three sons, David England, Kenneth England and Bryan England, all of Mayfield; one daughter, Cathy Work of Danville, Va.; two stepdaughters, Sharon Richardson and Debbie Compton, both of Smyrna, Tenn.; one stepson, Ricky Hayden of the St. Charles community; one sister, Juanita Dunn of Warren, Mich.; one brother, Jerry Brown of Mayfield; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James L. England; one grandson; and one brother. Her parents were Arnold and Ethel Hutchins Pool.
A Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at the St. Charles Catholic Church. The Rev. David Willett will officiate. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Mayfield.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday.
