GRAND RIVERS — Charles David Borders Sr., 70, of Grand Rivers died Thursday, August 1, 2013, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
He was a retired journeyman electrician from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 816 of Paducah. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church in Grand Rivers, where he served as trustee chairman.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea K. (Holmes) Borders; three daughters, Kimberly Borders of Apopka, Fla., Karen Sullivan of Stratham, N.H., and Sheri Kimball of Wilton, Conn.; one son, Michael Winship of Lecanto, Fla.; one brother, Russell Borders of Pinckney, Mich.; one sister, Erdene Hughes of Auburn; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Charles David Borders Jr., and one brother. His parents were Delbert Borders and Erline (Fitzhugh) Borders.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Pisgah United Methodist Church in Grand Rivers with the Rev. Steve Proctor officiating. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the service hour Saturday at the church.
