FULTON — Robert E. Ryan, 91, of Fulton died Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home.
He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Martin, Tenn., and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps where he served in World War II. He worked for KLN Airlines as a pilot, then for North Central Airlines until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Sadich Ryan; one daughter, Becky Caldwell of Fulton; two sons, Richard Ryan of Brentwood, Calif., and Ronald Ryan of Crystal Lake, Ill.; and one grandson, Warren Caldwell of Fulton.
He was preceded in death by one sister. His parents were Edward and Alice Bernice Connery Ryan.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Martin, Tenn., with burial in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2013, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
