VIENNA, Ill. — Claude Murray Morse, 81, of Buncombe died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Jonesboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
He was an attendant at the Goreville Shell station. He worked as a custodian at Buncombe Grade School and at Union County Hospital. He was a television and radio repairman. He was a member of Lick Creek Pentecostal Church and a former pastor at Mt. Olive Church north of Vienna.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Grant) Morse; two sons, Zandle Morse of Buncombe and Wesley Morse of Mulkeytown, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Ada Morse.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2013, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Burial will be in Ebenezer-Hall Cemetery near Lick Creek.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013, at the funeral home.
