MURRAY — Lubie “Max” Nance, 75, of Murray died Sunday, September 1, 2013, at his daughter’s home.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Monica Lucas of Murray; three sisters, Patricia Ann Willett and Shelia Joyce Herndon, both of Murray, and Deborah Kay Brannack of Douglassville, Ga.; three brothers, Joe Nelson Nance of Crossville, Tenn., Phillip Terry Nance of Carrollton, Ga., and Ricky Lynn Nance of Rockmart, Ga.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother; and one great-grandchild. His parents were Lendon and Helen Phillips Nance.
Private services will be held later. J.H. Churchill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
