THEBES, Ill. — Leland Leon McKee, 84, of Thebes died at 2:08 a.m. Sunday, August 25, 2013, at his home.
He was a member of Alexander Free Will Baptist Church and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo (Collins) McKee; two daughters, Rhonda Sue Stokes of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Anita Jo Grace of Olive Branch; two sons, Jerry Leland McKee of Thebes and Michael Lee McKee of Schenectady, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister; and one brother. His parents were John Frederick (Fred) McKee and Edna Marie (Garner) McKee.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Alexander Free Will Baptist Church in rural Thebes with Earnest Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
