RIDGE TAHOE, Nev. — Julie Lynn Sims and Carson James Franzman were united in marriage June 22 at Ridge Tahoe Resort with David Beronio officiating. Music was provided by a string quartet.
The bride is the daughter of Ted and Stephanie Sims of Paducah. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen H. Girth and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hollis E. Sims.
The groom is the son of John and Sherri Franzman of Fresno, Calif. He is the grandson of Mrs. Irene Papaleo and Americo Papaleo of Clovis, Calif., the late James and Audrey Wheeler, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Franzman.
The bride chose Mrs. Kate Martens of La Grange, Ill., as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ashley Green of Paducah, Mrs. Maggie Allison of Hinsdale, Ill., and Mrs. Lindsay Uthe of Clarendon, Ill. Serving as flower girls were Miss Tori Sims, daughter of Sarah and John Sims of Hickory, Ky.; and Miss Katherine Weishaar, daughter of Cameron and Scott Weishaar of Fresno, Calif.
The groom chose his brother, Taylor Franzman of Fresno, Calif., as his best man. Groomsmen were Matt Green of Fresno, Scott Huffman of San Diego and James Landano of Clovis.
A dinner reception followed.
The bride is a graduate of Lone Oak High School and the University of Illinois. She is employed by Abercrombie & Fitch.
The groom is a graduate of Buchanan High School and attended the University of Fresno. He is a club manager for 24-hr. Fitness.
The couple reside in San Francisco.
