MAYFIELD — Franklin “Frank” Willett, 74, of Mayfield died at 10:25 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2013, at his home.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and worked as a mechanic at General Tire.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Shanks Willett; two sons, Frankie Willett of Pryorsburg and Ronnie Willett of Fancy Farm; three daughters, Dianna Brittain of Mayfield, Donna Winstead of Pryorsburg, and Michelle Gray of Martin, Tenn.; three stepsons, James Carter of Dublin, and Bobby Carter and Mark Carter, both of Mayfield; three brothers, Bill Willett of Hickory, Charles Willett of Mayfield, and Sam Willett of Murray; two sisters, Dora Willett of California and Sue Tacoma of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
His parents were Wilford and Estell Cash Willett.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Eric Riley officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, with prayers to be said at 6 p.m.
