GILBERTSVILLE — Troy Ray Jones, 62, of Gilbertsville, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, at his home.
He was a diesel technician at TAG Truck Center in Calvert City and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of East Marshall Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Retha Pauline (Dillon) Jones; his father, Elza Ray Jones of Benton; five sons, Trent Jones of Bloomington, Ill., Mike Dillon of Mayfield, Bobby Mathis of Union City, Tenn., Shane Orange of Paducah, and Tim Orange of Paducah; one brother, Keith Jones of Evansville, Ind.; one sister, Lynessa Warren of Gilbertsville; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Imogene (Drennan) Jones.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton with the Rev. Lucas Nance officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Moreland Cemetery in Gilbertsville.
