DEXTER — Graveside services for Wayne F. Gardner, 91, of Dexter will be Tuesday morning, Aug. 27, 2013, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Advance, Mo., with the Rev. Gary Vacca officiating.
Mr. Gardner died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson.
He was a sergeant in the military and served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Teets Gardner; his second wife, Helen Chandler Gardner; and his third wife, Helen Vaughn Gardner. His parents were Sam and Margie Wade Gardner.
He is survived by one son, Wayne Gardner Jr. of Dexter; one daughter, Tamara Powers of Texas; three brothers, Billy Gardner of Arkansas, Mark Gardner of Illinois and Wade Gardner; one sister, Betty Kinder of Bowling Green; and four grandchildren.
