MURRAY — Ruth Blackwood, 93, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Murray, died at Green Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Nashville.
She was a member of Murray Woman’s Club and Business & Professionals Club in Murray. She was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ.
She is survived by one daughter, Rogina Baker of Nashville; two grandchildren, Tiffany Larnicol of Paris, France, and Ward Baker of Washington, D.C.; and one great-grandchild, Lillian Elizabeth Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Anderson Blackwood; one brother, and two sisters. Her parents were Lupton Farley and Myrtle Smith Farley.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Murray Cemetery with John Dale and Garry Evans officiating.
