OLMSTED, Ill. — Gerald Barnes, 70, of Olmsted died at 11:37 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at the Land Mark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Mr. Barnes was a retired custom molder for Americule Inc. in Longmont, Colo., and was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olmsted.
Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife, Susan Rausch Barnes; one son, Richard Barnes of Karnak; four daughters, Mona Masters of Livingston, Tenn., Gerrianne Meece of Somerset, Ky., Tracey Parker of Grand Chain and Loreyanne Reagan of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; one brother, James Barnes of Olmsted; one sister, Mary Hannan of Olmsted; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers. His parents were Hal and Hilda Eiselmeyer Barnes.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olmsted with the Rev. Paul Donner officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery in Olmsted.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
