METROPOLIS, Ill. — Mary Francis Elizabeth Blackburn Holt Dufour, age 72, of Metropolis Ill., passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013, at Southgate Manor Health Care in Metropolis.
Mrs. Dufour was a native of Paducah and was a member of the First Baptist Worship Center in Metropolis. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving is her husband, Frankie Dufour of Metropolis; two daughters, Kerry Seeman (Keith) of Arkansas and Denise Meyer (Glen) of Metropolis; two sons, Jim Holt (Dorothy) of Metropolis and Mark (Diann) Holt of West Paducah; one sister, Shirley Wright of Alaska; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Hulsey (Mylon), Matt Holt (Val), Joanna Seeman, Chris Meyer (Kelly), Tori Meyer, Shane Seeman (Stahly), LeShay Seeman and Justin Holt (Andrea); five great-grandchildren, Ian Hulsey, Connor Hulsey, Riley Meyer, Ava Holt and Mya Holt, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Blackburn and Garnetta Rose Williams Blackburn; two sisters, and one brother.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Worship Center on Massac Creek Rd., Metropolis, Ill., with the Rev. Louis Brinker and Rev. Bobby Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Joppa, Ill.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at the First Baptist Worship Center in Metropolis and Wednesday from 10 a.m. till the funeral hour at the church.
