MAYFIELD — James Earl (Red) Cash, 80, of Mayfield died at 3:40 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013, at his home.
He was a retired electrician with Local 816 and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Oliver Cash; two stepdaughters, Terri Halvachs and Lisa Blechle, both of Belleville, Ill.; two sisters, Peggy Boggess and Patricia Barton, both of Mayfield; one brother, Edward Lynn Cash of Mayfield; five stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother, W.L. “Dub” Cash. His parents were Edward Earl and Veatrice Carrico Cash.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Revs. Eric Riley and Kenneth Ballenger officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.
