INDEPENDENCE — Lauren Jane Heeger and Luk Nichols were united in marriage May 25 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Independence with Colburn Hooten officiating. Music was provided by Steve McDaniel of Independence and Karrie Rider of Verona.
The bride is the daughter of Rob and Betty Heeger of Independence.
The groom is the son of Marty and Teresa Nichols of Milburn.
The bride chose her sister, Lindsey Heeger of Independence, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sara Nargessi of Crittenden, Brittany Langford of Independence, Jannell Shanon of Gallatin, Nicole Gleason of Verona and Porsche Morrow of Corinth. Serving as flower girls were Emma Moore, Zoee Sullenger and Zayden Sullenger. Ringbearers were Lincoln Faris, Crew Faris and Wyatt Piercefield of Erlanger.
The groom chose his brothers, Kye Nichols and Ike Nichols, both of Paducah, as his best men. Groomsmen were Ty Carrico, Ben Beasley and Cad Crider, all of Milburn; Hunter Burge of Arlington; and Isaac Hickerson of Mayfield.
A reception followed at the Fort Thomas Armory.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Walton-Verona High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in communications. She is employed by Browning Development Solutions in Nashville, Tenn.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Carlisle County High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Kentucky and the Lexington School for the Recording Arts. He is employed as a singer/musician/songwriter in Nashville.
The couple reside in Nashville.
