KEVIL — James Edward Kelley, 88, of Kevil passed away at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Kelley was a native of Paducah and was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church. He was also a U.S. Army veteran serving his country during WWII and retired from Union Carbide.
Surviving are two sons, James David Kelley and wife Debbie of Kuttawa and Stephen Edward Kelley of Calvert City; one sister, Mary Englert of Kevil; a brother, Robert Kelley of Kevil; three grandchildren, Nicole Cressler and husband Quincy, Terri Jo Kelley, and Jason Kelley; four great-grandchildren, Dalton Ashley, Brayden Cressler, Trace Cressler, and Simiya Cressler.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Francis Kelley; one sister, and his parents, Ed Kelley and Jewell Moore Kelley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Ball Knob Cemetery in Kevil.
