MARION — Willard Mott, 91, died Thursday at Crittenden County Health and Rehab.
He was the owner and operator of Mott Lumber Company. He was a member and deacon at Mexico Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II. He was instrumental in the formation of the Crittenden-Livingston Water District and was a member of Frances Masonic Lodge and Gideons International.
Surviving are two sons, Ronnie Mott of Kuttawa and Dennis Mott of Marion; one daughter, LaDonne Penn of Marion; six grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren,
He was preceded in death by his wife, Una Florence Shadowen Mott, and one brother. His parents were Elmer and Oata Hoover Mott.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Mexico Baptist Church with burial in Mexico Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion and from 10 a.m. until the service time Saturday at the church.
