BENTON — Sandra Lyles, 58, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away at 3:44 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
Sandra was a teacher and librarian in the Marshall County School System until her retirement. She and her husband, Ronald, were avid golfers and she was the pianist at Hardin Baptist Church, where they were members. Sandra also taught piano and she and Ronald sang for many years in the Neighbor’s Gospel Quartet.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Lyles of Benton; one son, Terry Lyles and his wife Christina of Benton; one daughter, Ronda Lyles of Benton; one brother, Jimmie Lovett of Benton; her grandchildren, Kegan Draffen, Alex Lyles, Gage Lyles, Hannah Lyles, Myra Lyles, Jarrod Yoke, Lee Elkins, and Teddy Elkins; her nieces and nephews, Amy Riley and her husband Tim, Jay Lovett, David Lovett and Christy Bollinger; and her great-nephews and nieces, Zak Riley, Wyatt Riley, Kolt Riley, Bryer Riley, Kaitlyn Lovett, Adam Lovett and Eric Lovett.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Lovett. Her parents were Roy Lovett and Lucille Nimmo Lovett.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory. Bro. Ricky Cunningham and Tim King will officiate and burial will follow in the Benton Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
