CALVERT CITY — Scott Lindsey, 91, of Calvert City died at 10:38 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2013, at his home.
He was a member of Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church, the Carpenters Union Local 357, and a lifetime member of the American Legion. He was a farmer and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Cassie Parrott Lindsey; two daughters, Kathie Williams and Marsha Harper, both of Calvert City; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother. His parents were Roy and Belma King Lindsey.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Fooks Cemetery with military rites. Roger Parker and Trevor Harper will officiate.
