VIENNA, Ill. — Robert L. “Bobby” Tannehill, 64, of Herrin died at 10 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013, at his home.
He was a group leader for 18 years at Maytag in Herrin and was a member of Woodmen of the World Lodge 50 and the Marion, Ill., senior citizens organization. He was also an American Softball Association umpire and IHSA referee for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Hastings) Tannehill; one son, Kerry M. Tannehill of Herrin, and one sister, Kathy Sullivan of Chandler, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by two stepchildren, Terry Tellor and Cindy Tellor, and an infant brother. His parents were Albert Tannehill and Virginia (Schurheck) Tannehill-Grender.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
Burial will be in Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Bailey Funeral Home.
