PRINCETON — Charles U. Parrent, 89, of Princeton died Friday, June 21, 2013, at Princeton Health and Rehabilitation.
He was a retired civilian carpenter at Fort Campbell and a member of White Sulphur Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline “Polly” Hopper Parrent; two sons, Charles Allen Parrent and James Gary Parrent, both of Caldwell County; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother; four sisters, and three half-sisters. His parents were Charles Ules Parrent and Alcie Ellen Kenady Parrent.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with the Revs. Bill Gross and Roger Felker officiating. Burial will follow at White Sulphur Church Cemetery with military rites.
