Carl D. Taylor
Carl D. Taylor, of Paducah, passed away June 4, 2013, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah. He was born in the community of Creek, Texas. He could fix and do anything. He leaves his wife Carolyn of 58 years. He is a member of Providence Baptist Church in Ballard County where he lived for 27 years and then moved to Paducah and lived another 27 years in the same home. He was a member of Local Millwrights Local # 1080 and served in the U.S. Army for four years during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Taylor; one son, Mike Taylor and his wife Donna of Kevil; one daughter, Cindy Headrick and her husband R.L. of Reidland; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Kenneth Taylor of Conroe, Texas, Cecil Taylor of Austonio, Texas, Troy Taylor of Houston, Texas, and Joe Taylor of Austoina, Texas. He will be missed by lots of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Terry Dean Taylor; one brother, Zachary Clay Taylor Jr., and his parents, Zachary Clay and Mabel Taylor.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 7, 2013, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Don Pippin officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday morning after 10 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center.
