MOUNDS, Ill. — Ina Ruth McClellan, 87, of Mounds died at 5:25 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.
Mrs. McClellan was a member of Mighty Rivers Worship Center. She a former employee of the Illinois Department of Registration and Education, served as Pulaski County treasurer, and was a former treasurer for the City of Mounds.
She is survived by two sons, Marvin Maxwell of Tunnell Hill and Scott McClellan of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a brother, Raymond Clark of Omaha, Neb.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, James Maxwell and Carl E. McClellan; a son, Brent McClellan; two granddaughters; four brothers; and four sisters. Her parents were John Clark and Myrtle Glenn Clark.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge with Larry L. Potts officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
