J.D. Frazee, 91, of West Paducah died at 9:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He retired from Illinois Central Railroad with 33 years of service.
He is survived by two sons, Joe Frazee of West Paducah and William Frazee of Waynetown, Ind.; five sisters, Louise Chambers McIllwain of Henderson, Lula Buford and Phyllis Joyner, both of Paducah, Monzell Thurston of Melber, and Greer Klesk of Nicholasville; two brothers, Junior Manning and Joe Manning; 10 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Hammonds Frazee; one daughter, Velda Jane Frazee; one son, Dennis Dave Frazee, and one brother. His parents were William Luther Frazee and Mary Manning Murray Frazee Chambers.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Palestine Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Tilford officiating.
