KUTTAWA — Mary E. Dycus Guess, 91, of Kuttawa died at 11:12 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at River’s Bend Retirement Community.
She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Willie Guess of Burns, Tenn., and Major Guess Jr. of Kuttawa; three daughters, Wanda Kingston and Janice Stokes, both of Eddyville, and Janett Litchfield of Cadiz; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Amos Dycus Jr. of Princeton, and Jimmy Don Dycus and Teddy Dycus, both of Indiana, and two sisters, LaVerne King of Princeton and Louise Crouse of Benton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Guess Sr.; one brother, and two sisters. Her parents were Amos and Pearl Yates Dycus.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Revs. James Holsapple and John Hagan officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville and after 1 p.m. Sunday at the church.
