PRINCETON — Gene Vanover, 67, of Princeton died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at his home from a fall.
He was a retired electrical line foreman with Princeton Electric Plant Board. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, National Wild Turkey Federation and Calhoun United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Lois O’Bannon Vanover; five sons, Steve Revelett of Grand Rivers, Tim Revelett of Princeton, Greg Vanover of New Bern, N.C., and Neal Vanover and Tony Vanover, both of Calhoun; one daughter, Selina Beck of Eddyville; one brother, James Mincy of Franklin; one sister, Juanita Bennett of Louisville; 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Oleta Vanover; one grandson, and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Home with Rev. Richie McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
