FULTON — Lovenia “Love” Williams, 85, of Fulton died at 7:55 a.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the Haws Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center in Fulton.
She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and had been a lab technician for the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago.
She is survived by three sons, George Williams of Harvey, Ill., Gary Williams of Pittsburg, Calif., and Cary Smith of Fulton; five daughters, Janice Mason of South Highland, Ill., Sandra Ballentine of Chicago, Shelia Ann Appleton of Palentine, Ill., Yvette Williams of Fulton, LaWanda Miller of LaGrange, Ga., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Ruthie Morris of South Fulton, Tenn., and Ola Hicks of Rock Island, Ill.
She was s preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel George “Frosty” Williams; a son, Julian Williams; a daughter, Linda Sue Goodman; two sisters and a brother. Her parents were Charlie Bell Kennedy and Lenard Hilliard,
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Interment in Greenlea Cemetery will be private. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday.
