VIENNA, Ill. — Geneva L. King, 90, of Vienna, formerly of Goreville, died at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Mrs. King had been a catalog manager for J.C. Penney in Matteson and a member of Goreville First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Pearce of Vienna, Calvin Pearce of Goreville, Larry Pearce of Surprise, Ariz., and Jerry Pearce of Manteno; and two sisters, Wanda Bradley and Violet Billingsly, both of Goreville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas King; one son, David King; one brother; and one sister. Her parents were Alvin Pearce and Bell Gurley Pearce.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Buncombe.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the funeral home.
