SPARTA, Tenn. — Mr. Curtis Rust, age 82, of Sparta, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Rust was born in Melber, Ky., on November 26, 1930, son of the late Clyde C. and Esther Pearl (Buckingham) Rust. He was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces, serving in the U.S. Army.
A memorial service will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013, with Jeff Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Saylors Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, May 18, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church.
Surviving family members include: his daughter, Paulette Jump (Jess) of Michigan; two sons, Curtis L. Rust (Sharon) of Smithville and John Rust (Kathy) of Sparta; his siblings, Leona Maxwell of Kentucky, Juanita Neihoff of Kentucky, Ruth Schilling of Missouri, Ersel Rust of Kentucky, and Beverly Thornton of Alabama.
