VIENNA, Ill. — Hillis E. Faulkner, 94, of Vienna, formerly of Topeka, Kan., died at 7:25 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was employed in the production department of Goodyear Tire Company in Topeka and attended First United Methodist Church in Topeka.
He is survived by one stepdaughter, Judy Gurley of Rogue River, Ore., and one brother, Herman Faulkner of Anaconda, Mont.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, including two infants, and five sisters.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Burial will be at a later date in Marion Cemetery, Marion, Kan.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
