KEVIL, Ky. — Mr. and Mrs. John Myers of Kevil recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Patti’s 1880’s Restaurant in Grand Rivers.
Mr. Myers and the former Dorothy Nan Davis were married April 20, 1963, by The Rev. Gene Myers at Harmony Baptist Church in Grahamville. Their witnesses were Tom Davis and Shirley Myers Davis.
Mrs. Myers is the daughter of the late William Alvah and Laura Jeanette Long Davis. She is a registered nurse retired with 21 years in oncology at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Myers is the son of the late Edward Andrew and Mallie Mae Blanks Myers. He is retired after 42 years in building material sales. He is a self-employed farmer.
They have three children: Johnny (Amy) Myers. Keith (Tiffany) Myers and Teresa (Lance) Morgan, all of Kevil. They have nine grandchildren.
