FULTON — Robert “R.A.” Brown, 89, of Fulton died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Haws Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Brown was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired building contractor and electrician, a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers No. 1925, and a member of the Carpenters Union.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Louise Stallins Brown; one daughter, Donna Brown Cook of Fulton; two grandchildren; three brothers, Joe Lee Brown of Fort Wayne, Ind., Bob E. Brown of Fulton, and Phillip E. Brown of Jefferson City, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. His parents were Arnie and Colen Arrington Brown.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
