MURRAY — Jettie Lancaster, 86, of Murray died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
She retired as a machine operator from Kimberly Clark.
She is survived by one son, Steve Lancaster of Murray; three daughters, Brenda Lancaster of Memphis, Tenn., Nancy Elliott of Murray, and Joyce Holland of Arlington, Tenn.; three brothers, Bobby Black of Jacksonville, Fla., Selby Black of Mantee, Miss., and Bud Black of Arkabutla, Miss.; three sisters, Lurena Wellbanks of South Haven, Miss., Sissy Owens of Monroe, La., and Betty Maxwell of Byhalia, Miss.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Cooper Lancaster; one brother; and one sister. Her parents were Walter Melton and Lura Mae Black.
Arrangements were incomplete at Forest Hill South Funeral Home in Memphis. Imes-Miller Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
