HOPKINSVILLE — Graveside services for Patsy Childress, 70, of Hopkinsville will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Eddy Creek Church Cemetery with the Rev. Darrell Crawford officiating. Mrs. Childress died at 10:05 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tenn. Mrs. Childress was a retired stock clerk for Wal-Mart and a member of Living Hope Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.
She is survived by two sons, Chris Childress of Trenton, and Micky Childress of Paducah; three daughters, Pam Dunbar of Caldwell County, Penny Childress of Princeton and Melissa Hudson of Hopkinsville. eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six brothers, Ronnie Anderson and Terry Anderson, both of Hobart, Ind., Jimmy Anderson, Timmy Anderson and Dennis Anderson, all of Newbern, Tenn., and Earl Anderson of Dyersburg, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Gary Childress; and one great-grandchild. Her parents were Billy and Dorothy James Anderson.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, and from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
